‘Great for Liverpool’: Klopp tipped to sign ‘outstanding' star Arsenal reportedly to bid for

Stevie Nicol has backed Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool to sign Arsenal transfer target Nicolo Barella from Serie A giants Inter this summer.

The Italy international is the subject of strong transfer interest from a number of top clubs in the Premier League, including Liverpool and Champions League-ready Arsenal.

Given that Nicolo Barella has just competed in the Champions League final with Inter, then you would imagine that he would want to stay at that level, but for Nicol, he would be a ‘great’ and ‘fantastic’ signing for his former club after it was told a deal is possible, as he told ESPN.

“He would be great for Liverpool,” said Nicol. “Talking about fitting the profile of Liverpool at their best in the middle of the park. He would be fantastic.”

Arsenal to bid for Barella?
The Arsenal transfer rumour mill is, so far, being taken over by Declan Rice and whether the England international is going to pick them or Manchester City.

But according to Italian outlet FC Inter News, the north London club, alongside Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United, are prepping a bid for Barella.

There is still a long way to go before the summer transfer window slams shut, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Barella lands on the door step of an English team this summer
Barella perfect for Klopp
A player of tenacious quality, energy to burn and outstanding vision, Barella is someone that would be perfect under Jurgen Klopp.

The 26-year-old is hitting the peak years of his career and perhaps getting coached by someone like Klopp will take his game to the next level.

One thing is for certain, he suits Klopp’s system, better than someone like Thiago, and he is tailor-made for the Premier League stage.
