Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta identifies next two signings but seven exits must be done first

Arteta has spent over £200million on three new signings so far. Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice have seen the Gunners have a blistering start in the summer transfer window.
However, there are still six weeks remaining before the market closes. Arteta has been public in his stance that he would still be open to making further additions.

Arsenal's lack of squad depth was clear for all to see in their hugely disappointing end to last season. The return to Champions League football has only increased the need for more quality options in a number of positions.

The Independent claims that Arteta wants to sign another midfield player to add to the deals for Havertz and Rice, with Southampton's Romeo Lavia on their radar. He also wants to bring in a right-back, despite the arrival of Timber.

Timber can play at right-back but operated the majority of last season at Ajax in the middle of defence. He could be used more as cover for William Saliba if another right-sided defender is brought in.

However, Arsenal will have to sell first before bringing in any new faces. The report claims the club expect to bring in at least £60m from departures.

Folarin Balogun could provide a large chunk of that amount. Inter Milan are interested in signing the young striker following his successful loan spell in France.
