ARSENAL COULD SELL £180,000-A-WEEK FORWARD TO FUND KYLIAN MBAPPE DEAL

According to Football Transfer, Arsenal want to sign Kylian Mbappe in the summer of 2024 when he is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Telegraph has reported that the 24-year-old forward has told PSG that he does not plan to sign a new deal and wants to leave next summer on a free transfer.

And that’s when Arsenal plan to sign Mbappe, according to Football Transfers.

The report has added that Arsenal could sell Brazil international forward Gabriel Martinelli to fund a move for Mbappe.

Liverpool and Real Madrid have been linked with Mbappe, who won the 2018 World Cup with France.

Potential disappointment for Gabriel Martinelli
In our opinion, Gabriel Martinelli would be bitterly disappointed if Arsenal decided to cash in on him and use that money to sign Kylian Mbappe.

Martinelli is one of the best young players in the Premier League and is only 22 years of age.

The Arsenal forward has been superb for Mikel Arteta’s side and is one of the first names on the teamsheet when he is fit and available.

Martinelli has made 93 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

The Brazilian youngster has scored 26 goals and given 12 assists in those games.

It was only in February 2023 that Martinelli signed a new contract with Arsenal that now sees him earn £180,000 per week as salary (The Sun journalist Daniel Cutts).

It would be a massive disappointment for Martinelli if Arsenal sold him next summer, especially if the Brazilian ace starred for the North London club next season, helped them win the Premier League title and make an impact in the UEFA Champions League.
