Everything is now ready for England international midfielder Rice to become a new Arsenal player in the summer transfer window.

Plettenberg has added that the total fee involved in the transfer is £120 million.

In our opinion, that Declan Rice is about to join Arsenal is very good and encouraging news for the Emirates Stadium faithful.

There have reportedly been some issues holding up the transfer, but it appears that Arsenal and West Ham have sorted them now.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will surely be over the moon if Rice completes his transfer today.

After all, pre-season training has already started, and Arteta will certainly like to have the 24-year-old in his squad now.

Rice, who can operate as a defender as well, is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
