Back in 2019, Arsenal signed the Scotland international from Celtic, and he became a key player for the club, but as Parlour mentioned, his constant injuries soon become a ‘problem’ for him, as he told talkSPORT.
Now, at the age of 26, he has a big call to make. Does he stay at his current club? Join Newcastle United? Or perhaps move elsewhere?
It has been suggested that if the all-action fullback does move, then he is open to joining Eddie Howe’s Champions League side, which would be a good move for him because they are in need of a player of his quality.
Parlour shared his thoughts and how it has been a struggle for Tierney in London.
“Kieran is a totally different player (to Zinchenko),” said Parlour. “Kieran is an out-and-out outside player. But once he gets into good areas, his delivery is fantastic.
“I feel sorry for Kieran a little bit. He has had a few injuries as well. I think he will be frustrated with his Arsenal career because he has been held back quite a few times.
“It looks like he is getting into a rhythm, playing really well, then suddenly he breaks down and he is out for four or five weeks, so that has been his problem. Both top-class left-backs.”
