Report: £200,000-a-week player has now told Arteta he wants to leave Arsenal

Football Transfers are reporting this morning that Arsenal defensive midfielder Thomas Partey has told manager Mikel Arteta that he wants to leave the Gunners this summer.

Partey has told Arsenal to help him look for another club, as he does not want to play second fiddle next season.

Arsenal are open to selling the £200,000-a-week (Spotrac) star, but only if they get a decent transfer fee, according to the report.

Juventus and clubs in Saudi Arabia are claimed to be interested in Partey.

Football Transfers have reported that “Arsenal will have another meeting with Partey to discuss his future”.

What should Arsenal do about Thomas Partey?
In our opinion, Arsenal should sell Thomas Partey if he himself wants to leave in the summer transfer window.

There is no point in the Gunners keeping hold of a player who does not want to be at the club.

Arsenal are on the verge of signing Declan Rice from West Ham United.

True, Granit Xhaka could leave for Bayer Leverkusen, but there are talks of Romeo Lavia coming in from Southampton.

Now, Partey is a good player who did well for most of last season, but Arsenal would be able to move on from him.
