Report: Arsenal now consider move to sign 'exceptional' £40m player linked with Chelsea this summer

The Ghana international definitely looks a real star in the making, so will he end up playing his football in London next season?
Described as “exceptional” by John Heitinga (VoetbalPrimeur), Kudus is definitely someone we rate as a Chelsea target.

However, both the Blues and Arsenal should be a little sceptical over a £40million valuation. Hakim Ziyech is the perfect proof that success in the Dutch league doesn’t always translate into the Premier League.Arsenal are now interested in signing Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus, who’s previously been linked as a Chelsea transfer target this summer.

That is according to a report from the Daily Mail.

They claim that Arsenal may not be done in this transfer window with their big spending, which has seen them make high-profile signings such as Declan Rice and Kai Havertz.

It is understood that Mikel Arteta’s Gunners side will turn their immediate focus to selling players, but £40million-rated Mohammed Kudus in still on their radar this summer.

It’s interesting to note Arsenal particularly like the versatility of the 22-year-old left-footer, who can play as either a central midfielder, attacking midfielder or winger.

We’re yet to hear any follow up interest in this window to suggest Mauricio Pochettino’s side will launch a move to sign him. There’s still plenty of time to get deals done, though.

Kudus enjoyed an excellent year last season in Ajax colours, scoring 18 goals and making seven assists in 42 games across all competitions.
