Zinchenko and Tierney are currently ahead of Tavares in the pecking order for a starting role under manager Mikel Arteta.
There are suggestions that Tierney could leave the club in the coming weeks, but we don’t fancy Tavares to stay.
The 23-year-old struggled to adapt to Arsenal’s playing style in his debut season. He was often caught out of position.
If Tierney were to leave the club, there is a good possibility that Takehiro Tomiyasu could provide back-up.
Arsenal also have Lino Sousa from their academy, who has been touted to make his breakthrough soon.
Meanwhile, we are not surprised that Tavares is not keen on staying in London with the Hammers.
David Moyes’ side won the UEFA Conference League, but finished a lowly 14th in the top-flight.€25m would represent a good piece of business for Arsenal, having bought Tavares for just €8m in 2021.
