Arsenal fans loved what Declan Rice did in team huddle before kick-off

The game at the Emirates was delayed until 1pm because of issues with Arsenal's new electronic ticket system leaving thousands of fans stranded outside.

But all supporters were then able to gain access to the ground to see the Gunners in action. The three new signings, Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber, all made their Premier League debuts for Arsenal after helping Mikel Arteta's side win the Community Shield on penalties against Manchester City last week.

Former West Ham captain Declan Rice has been brought in for a British-record £105 million fee and Arsenal fans are already loving him.

Rice further endeared himself to the Gooners pre-match when TNT Sports cameras pictured him singing the 'North London forever' anthem as it played over the tannoy in a huddle with his teammates.

Louis Dunford, a singer from the area, has seen the chorus of his track 'The Angel' adapted into the chant and Rice is clearly a big fan.
