Only 12 of Fati's 36 La Liga appearances last season were as a starter. He was still able to contribute seven goals and three assists in a team that won the Spanish title for the first time since 2019.
Players such as Raphinha and Ousmane Dembele kept Fati out of Xavi's starting XI. The 20-year-old has been regularly linked with a move away from his boyhood club.
In March, Fati's father Bori encouraged his son to leave, hitting out at his lack of minutes. But it appears his recommendation has fallen on deaf ears.
Spanish outlet Sport claims that Arsenal are one of the clubs more recently to have expressed their interest in Fati. The offer was said to be tempting to Barca.

However, Fati does not want to leave and Barca have therefore rejected the offer. The La Liga club respect that he wants to stay and fight for his spot this season.
There is no indication of how much Arsenal offered for Fati. He has a release clause in his contract of around £860million (€1billion), with the deal still having a further four years to run.
Ousmane Dembele is linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, which could open the door for further opportunities at Barca for Fati. Barca president Joan Laporta claimed last month that Fati was determined to do all he could to prosper under Xavi.
Laporta told Mundo Deportivo: "He wants to succeed at Barca. He has a gift, which is as a scorer. Xavi told me that in training the ones who score the most goals are [Robert] Lewandowski and Ansu.
