'Put into Arsenal's team': Mikel Arteta sent message about thriving La Liga midfielder

The former striker, who is an Arsenal fan, says Jude Bellingham is ‘single-handedly’ carrying Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid this season.

Prior to the 20-year-old securing a transfer to the biggest club side in the world, there was talk of the highly-rated star possibly moving to the Premier League.

There’s no doubt that Bellingham is one of the top midfielders in the world, but even though someone like Rodri has just won the Treble, Bent made it clear that he would still take the English star at Arsenal between the two, as he told talkSPORT.

Arsenal fans might not get the chance to see a player of Bellingham’s ilk don their colours or play for them.

But following their return to the Champions League, there is every chance they come up against Madrid this season.

“Bellingham, single-handedly at the minute, is carrying Real Madrid,” said Bent.

On who he would have Rodri or Bellingham: “To put into Arsenal’s team right now? Give me Bellingham.”

Ballon d’Or for Bellingham?
In years to come, the England international is going to be in with a serious chance of winning that coveted individual prize.
Not only does he have all the talent in the world to win that trophy, but he also is playing for a club that allows players to win them on a regular basis.

And that has been proven by the quite incredible start he has made in Madrid because he has scored in all three La Liga games so far, four from three, including a late winner at Celta Vigo last time out.
