Arsenal Faces Another Injury as Mohamed Elneny Makes a Return

Arsenal has come to terms with another injury scare, Gabriel Magalhaes being the one in concern. The 25-year-old made his debut in the World Cup qualifying against Bolivia.
The player was seen holding an ice pack on his thigh right after being taken off the field at around the 85th minute.

According to the reports, the scans have come out clean with no signs of serious injury. Gabriel was also able to play the victory match between Brazil and Peru with a score of 1-0, just four days later.

Gabriel was also seen during the Arsenal training at London Colney on 15 September 2023. The training has been set prior to their premier league battle with Everton on 17 September 2023.

Mikel Arteta has stated that he and his staff will be looking after the Brazilian player over the next few weeks and observing his gameplay.

He stated that they have good contact with the national team. Gabriel is said to have only had a little issue. He also managed to play the second game, so not much can be said as the team keeps a keen eye on his physical health in the next sequence of matches.

With Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber already out of the game for some time, Arsenal cannot afford to lose Gabriel for even a short period of time while preparing for the Champions League and Carabao Cup campaigns through the following weeks.

The Gunners could have poor defense during their upcoming seven matches in the next four weeks with the two players out of the field.Would the return of Mohamed Elneny have a fatal result?
This week also awaits the return of Mohamed Elneny. The Egyptian player has been missing from the field of football since the training session in January, where he got a serious knee injury.

Arteta has revealed that Elneny has moved on from the minor setback and is finally ready to return to his squad. Elneny’s return could be a fatal blow to the team as it misses some of its players.

Arteta reported that the 31-year-old has started his training again after facing a little niggle in his hamstring a few weeks ago. It is said to be a long-term injury; Elneny has been part of rehab and is working on building his momentum to get back in the game.

Arteta calls Elneny their “glue player”; he is the one person holding the team together in one place. He is a very important player for his squad, and the team is looking forward to his return.

Elneny is hopeful of a soon return to his squad. The trip to Everton on 17th September 2023, however, could be too soon for the player.

Arsenal, with several of its players down, could be facing a great defeat with the return of Mohamed Elneny. The spectators are wishing for the speedy recovery of the players and looking forward to some legendary matches.
