Breaking:Arsenal duo complete much-needed loan moves

Arsenal and Bromley FC have confirmed that Arsenal youth players Kido Taylor-Hart and Alex Kirk have joined the National League club on loan for the season.
Taylor-Hart will wear the number eight shirt with his loan club, whilst Kirk will wear 15.

The loan spell is an important one for the two players, for different reasons.

For Taylor-Hart, this is his first experience of senior football, having previously gone on loan to the Derby County u21s. It was certainly the right time for him to make the step up, and he’ll now be able to test himself in the men’s game.

As for Kirk, this isn’t his first spell in a first-team environment, having played for Ayr United in the Scottish Championship last season.

But after a largely positive campaign in Scotland, Kirk ended up missing much of the final two months of the season through injury.

The defender got fit just in time to return to the squad for the Scottish Premiership play-offs, but he didn’t end up playing any minutes as Ayr United were thrashed by Partick Thistle 8-0 on aggregate.

As a result, it’s now been over five months since Kirk last played a competitive game, and the important thing for him is just to get going again.

Bromley sit mid-table in the National League after seven games, with their nine points leaving them in 13th as it stands.

Taylor-Hart and Kirk will have their first chance to make an impression on Saturday, September 9th at 15:00 BST, when Bromley face Maidenhead United.
