Alebiosu is not in the plans of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and was not part of their pre-season tour of the United States.

The Hale End academy graduate has been with the North London club since 2010, signing his first professional deal in 2020 and spending the second half of 2021-22 on loan in League One with Crewe Alexandra.

Alebiosu is yet to make a first-team debut for Arsenal but made the Premier League matchday squad against Burnley shortly before his first loan spell away from North London and was also once on the bench against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.

22-year-old midfielder Tim Akinola left the Gunners in a permanent deal for Qatari second division side Al Bidda earlier this week, and there could be more exits across the youth and first-teams in the coming days.

Alebiosu has plenty of competition blocking his pathway to the Arsenal first-team given the plethora of options available in the defensive ranks of the under-23s and senior team, and a permanent exit would benefit both parties.The likes of Granit Xhaka, Folarin Balogun, Matt Turner, Auston Trusty and Rob Holding have left the first-team permanently, with Marquinhos, Runar Alex Runarsson, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Kieran Tierney and Nuno Tavares securing loan exits.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been released and since joined Lyon, former youth team duo Matt Smith and Zach Awe were also released, with Ben Cottrell and Nikolaj Moller sold.

Mazeed Ogungbo, Mauro Bandeira, Billy Vigar, Hubert Graczyk, Charlie Patino, Brooke Norton-Cuffy, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, Arthur Okonkwo, Omar Rekik, Tyreece John-Jules and Mika Biereth have all left on loan in search of first-team football.
