Chelsea may face Arsenal transfer fight for £23m starlet as Martin Odegaard turns on charm

Nusa became the country’s second-youngest goalscorer in their history with his strike against Jordan. He then added two assists in their next match against Georgia to add to his growing profile after also scoring on his first Champions League appearance last season.

Chelsea had a £23million bid turned down by Club Brugge in the summer as Todd Boehly and co continue their youth revolution, though Manchester United and Liverpool have also entered the race to sign the young forward - while Odegaard may have hinted that the Gunners could also make a move.

The Blues are reportedly planning to make another formal bid once the window opens again in January, as they believe they are the frontrunners to sign Nusa ahead of their Premier League rivals in what could turn out to be another coup for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Antonio Nusa is of interest to Chelsea and Arsenal.
Arsenal may have the inside scoop on Nusa, however, thanks to Odegaard who has been very complimentary of the starlet.

Having been linked with the Gunners in the summer, the 25-year-old playmaker talked up the prospect after Norway’s 2-1 Euro 2024 qualifying win over Georgia.

"Fantastic! He is an incredibly exciting player," Odegaard told TV2.

"You see it, everything he gets the ball, it’s exciting. He is still young and will get even better. It was cool to see him. He deserved to get the chance that he takes it to such an extent. Incredibly cool!
