Last season, Marcus Rashford scored a stunning goal at Arsenal, so he has done it before, as Bruno Fernandes is now donning the captain’s armband, with Wright warning ‘we have to get it done early’ or he feels the duo can ’cause us problems’, as he told Premier League Productions (03/09/23 at 1:20 pm).
In terms of performances, both are coming off the back of iffy displays, but those in London have still started stronger.
Added to that, ten Hag watched his side crumble and suffer a damaging defeat away at Tottenham recently, which only continued their poor performances away from home against the top sides.
That was touched upon by former England striker Owen, as he spoke about today’s game, alongside Wright.

“Manchester United’s away record against the top nine teams is absolutely shocking,” said Owen. “I think they have one point out 27. They have gone to Tottenham already this season and been beaten, and beaten badly.
“Based on all of that, you have to fancy Arsenal today. They are on an upward curve. Positive. Some good players. Quite the opposite to Manchester United, they have had a really good transfer window. Brought smart. Gone early and brought in top players. I would say Arsenal are favourites today.”
Wright responded: “As much as we are talking about where Arsenal and Manchester United are, at the end of the day, it’s still Arsenal v Manchester United. They still have players who can hurt us. We are still in a place where we are still trying to find the formula.
“You are going to have to get it done and get it done early because Rashford and Bruno. They can cause us problems if we don’t get it right.”Premier League title race
Arsenal were in the Premier League title race last season, but they messed up during the final few weeks of the season.
On the other hand, Man United were on the outside, but this is where they will be hoping to go to the next level and, at the very least, challenge for the title.
As of this moment, they aren’t showing signs they will challenge, but win at the Emirates, then all of that changes.
