Trossard added a second, before Gabriel Jesus made it 3-0 before half-time - putting Arsenal in a comfortable position heading into the second half. Gunners captain Martin Odegaard completed the rout with a brilliant strike as Arteta opted to bring off a number of key players early, giving them extra rest ahead of the North London Derby this weekend.
Saka has been Arsenal's talisman for the last two seasons and has started the 2023/24 campaign in stunning form. The 22-year-old has already scored three goals and provided four assists in his seven appearances so far this season.
Saka's performances have not just been impressive at Arsenal after he emerged as a key player for England at last year's World Cup in Qatar. Following his most recent display, the England international has received plenty of plaudits - including messages from Trossard and Three Lions teammate Bellingham.
The Real Madrid star scored a crucial goal against Union Berlin to get Los Blancos up and running in the Champions League, but still had the time after the game to post on Saka's Instagram. Bellingham wrote: "Congrats brother *love heart eyes emoji* *white heart emoji*."
Meanwhile, Trossard wrote: "On firee *fire emoji* *praise emoji*." Arsenal icon Ian Wright had a simple one-word message for Saka, which read: "Elite!!!"
Saka will be hoping he can continue his brilliant form heading into the North London Derby this weekend. Arsenal have taken 13 points from a possible 15 so far this season and will be desperate to remain unbeaten after the weekend - whilst earning the bragging rights over their fierce rivals.
