Jude Bellingham sends Arsenal message as transfer theories continue

Jude Bellingham has been on fire since completing a summer transfer to La Liga giants Real Madrid. The England international has already netted five goals and provided one assist in just four league matches for Los Blancos, numbers that read even more impressive when you consider that he is still only 20 years old.

Despite clearly enjoying life at the Bernabeu Stadium, plenty of Arsenal supporters have been theorising that he will one day play for Mikel Arteta's side, even though that may seem rather unlikely at this moment in time. Now, Bellingham has surely added some fuel to the fire by referencing a famous moment from former Gunners attacker Andrei Arshavin.

Arshavin scored four goals in a thrilling 4-4 draw against Liverpool during the 2008/09 campaign, famously holding four wingers up to the camera after netting his final goal at Anfield. In a recent video with his England teammates, the former Birmingham City playmaker mimicked the Russian's iconic celebration whilst simply saying: "Arshavin."

Of course, this led to plenty of Arsenal fans taking to social media to voice how much they would love to have Bellingham at the Emirates Stadium. Here is what a select few on X (formerly known as Twitter) said:

@clampzinoooo : "Darg… we should’ve done everything to get him and rice."

@armzzotf: "Arsenal 2029."

@littlechilli77: "Rice Bellingham Odegaard midfield would genuinely rule world football for 7 years."

@4Pramod: "Yup he is 100% an Arsenal fan."

@emilesmithjoe: "Arshavin 4 "Only a gooner would remember that."

@Karanmattu__: "Zidane coming back and being stubborn to push Jude to leave to arsenal."
