Brentford striker Ivan Toney wants to leave the club in 2024 with Arsenal having already made an enquiry.
Toney is currently banned from playing due to gambling breaches which were investigated last season.
The 27-year-old cannot play again until January but has been given permission to resume training with Brentford.
Toney is gearing up for his return to action but there is some doubt over whether his comeback will be in a Brentford shirt…

Arsenal enquire about Ivan Toney deal
Toney will be inside the final 18 months of his contract come January and there may be a temptation to cash in.
Arsenal are being heavily linked with a move to sign Toney and Fabrizio Romano has now offered more on that story.
Romano has been speaking on The Here We Go Podcast and predicts that Toney will be the big story of the January transfer window.
Romano notes that Toney has changed agents and ultimately wants to leave for a ‘top, top club’.
It’s claimed that Arsenal have ‘asked for information’ about a deal to sign Toney, but so have rivals Chelsea.
Romano doesn’t believe that Tottenham intend to join this hunt but feels that Toney ‘really wants to leave’ with Arsenal right in the mix.
“I think it will be Ivan Toney, from Brentford to some big, big club,” said Romano. “Many big clubs are interested in Ivan Toney, he will be back after the ban and I think it’s a big opportunity for him because he decided to change agents, so in August he appointed new agents, he wants a new opportunity, he wants to try a top, top club with all the respect for Brentford, but he wants to win, he wants to compete for important titles.”“Arsenal already asked for information in terms of conditions of the deal, same happened with Chelsea, so both London clubs are interested in the situation, let’s see if Tottenham will do the same. At the moment, from what I’m hearing, Tottenham are not going for any concrete talk in this case but let’s see what happens because it’s still September and they have three months to decide what they want to do on this deal but for sure, Arsenal and Chelsea are interested and I think Toney really wants to leave and try a new opportunity,” he added.

Toney could be hugely expensive
Arsenal lacked the killer instinct to see off rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, only managing a 2-2 draw in the North London derby.
That has sparked a week full of rumours about a new striker, particularly Toney.
Arsenal may well be interested but the asking price for his signature appears to be up in the air.
The Mirror suggested earlier this week that Arsenal were stepping up their interest in a £60million deal,
90Min then claimed that Brentford were playing down that price tag and would want at least £75million for their star striker.
Reports from the London Evening Standard even claimed that the price tag could be as high as £80million, which would be staggering for a January signing.
