Update emerges as Arsenal receive fitness boost ahead of Everton clash - report

Three Arsenal players are set to miss the game against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday (17 September) in the Premier League.

According to injury expert Ben Dinnery on his website Premier Injuries, Thomas Partey, Jurrien Timber and Mohamed Elneny are all “ruled out”.

There’s also a 50 per cent chance that Gabriel Magalhaes will be missing the game against the Toffees.

Make it count

The Arsenal back line has looked shaky this season and not everyone appears to be on the same page in the team.

Kai Havertz has also struggled to make an impact in the Gunners midfield and if Sean Dyche asks for his midfielders to engage in physical duels with the likes of Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard, that could nullify the threat.

Beto looks to have started well at Arsenal and in Gabriel’s absence, Mikel Arteta may look to play Jakub Kiwior or Takehiro Tomiyasu along with William Salliba.

This could see the Portuguese striker look to take advantage of that fact and prove to be an aerial menace for the Arsenal defence.

Hopefully, Nathan Patterson or Dwight McNeil can find him with their crosses as that could be one of the go-to attacks for the hosts on Sunday.

It’s going to be difficult but if Dyche managed to mastermind a win in this fixture last season, he can look to secure a point this time around.
