However, that is still not enough to put them top as Mikel Arteta's men currently sit below local rivals Tottenham, who boast a near-identical record as the Gunners but have scored two goals more. So far, it has been one of the more relaxing international breaks for the Emirates faithful, with the likes of Bukayo Saka and William Saliba both getting some time off after withdrawing from the England and France squads respectively.
It is expected that both of the aforementioned duo will be fit to face Chelsea away at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night. The clash presents Arsenal's first trip to a big-six rival this term, with the three previous encounters against Manchester United, Tottenham and Manchester City all coming at the Emirates.
With that in mind, Mirror Football has taken a look at some of the main Arsenal-related rumours on Tuesday, October 17th.

Ivan Toney's Instagram activity has added fuel to the rumours a move to Arsenal is in
Arsenal have long been linked with a move for Brentford striker Ivan Toney and the speculation is set to continue after the 27-year-old's recent social media activity.
Toney posted a photo of him scoring a goal for the Bees at the Emirates against the Gunners during the 1-1 draw in north London last term, which has inevitably lead to some fans suggesting it is a fresh 'come and get me' plea to those at the top of the Arsenal hierarchy.Arteta is believed to be very interested in the England international and the growing consensus is that the feeling is reciprocated by Toney. His eight-month ban for 232 breaches of FA betting rules expires in January, just in time for a mid-season move.
"Everyone wants to play at the top of the tree," Toney admitted to The Diary Of A CEO podcast in August when discussing his career aspirations. "The manager knows that I want to play at the highest level possible and whenever that time comes, so be it. My time at Brentford has been probably the best of my caree. The next club I go to will be the right club."
Martin Odegaard has opened up on what life was like as a fresh-faced teenager with the world at his feet at Real Madrid and what it was like to share a dressing room with players like five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
Discussing what sort of tricks of the trade he picked up from Los Blancos superstars, the Arsenal captain told TV2: "There are a lot of small things during that time there: to see how they take care of their bodies, see how they train, the setting for matches, how they switched on and off.
"It's extreme. Those who were the most extreme about it, you saw how detail-oriented they are, how much they turn up the heat when the match comes," he continued.
"They can be very relaxed and stuff before, but when the match comes, it hits. The whole focus and all that. It was cool to see."

Ramsdale references Raya battle
Aaron Ramsdale has made light of losing his place as Arsenal number one to David Raya while away on England duty.
Raya has lined up between the sticks for every Gunners game bar one since the middle of last month, with Ramsdale having to watch on from the substitutes bench in the process.
Participating in a game of Carrot in a Box for Channel 4 alongside Arsenal and England teammate Eddie Nketiah, the shot-stopper seemed to subtly reference his new status as back-up 'keeper at club level.Nketiah told Channel 4 : "I think that's going to be his downfall, to be honest, he wants to win too much." Ramsdale replied: "I do want to win, I haven't won much recently." The pair proceeded to burst into laughter.
