He missed training on Thursday but is confident the problem is not serious
Gabriel Jesus did not train today but is confident he has not suffered a serious injury with the results of a hamstring scan expected on Friday.
The striker is a doubt for Arsenal’s match against Sheffield United on Saturday with a congested schedule ahead, though is not expected to be a prolonged absentee.
It is understood only some of the squad took part in Thursday's session with others doing gym work instead.
The Brazilian felt a tweak in his hamstring during the 2-1 victory over Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, in which he scored and provided a brilliant assist for compatriot Gabriel Martinelli.
Jesus went down with nine minutes of the match left before signalling to the bench that he had to come off.

After Tuesday’s game, he said: ‘I felt something. Let’s see. I did some tests with the physio. It looks not that big (an issue) but let’s see.
‘I will have a scan. Let’s see how it is, but I am pretty sure it will be nothing.’
The squad did a recovery session on Wednesday morning in Spain and flew back to the UK in the afternoon.
Manager Mikel Arteta is due to provide an update on Jesus’s fitness at his press conference tomorrow.
