Ian Wright hails Arsenal duo and slams Chelsea star after Stamford Bridge draw for being Ruthless

Ian Wright hailed Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka following Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, while he also slammed Blues defender Malo Gusto.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side looked on course for all three points after racing into a two-goal lead at Stamford Bridge but Arsenal scored two late goals to deny them.

Rice pulled one back on 77 minutes – scoring from 30 yards after a goalkeeping mistake from Robert Sanchez – and Gusto was unable to stop Saka’s cross as he provided the assist for Leandro Trossard’s equaliser.

Gunners legend Wright, speaking on Premier League Productions after the match, said: ‘It was a brilliant technique [from Rice].

‘He had to make sure it was curling away form the goalkeeper and he had a split second to actually execute that.

‘That’s the kind of thing, for a team that’s fighting for something, that was the break they needed.

‘It’s a great cross from Saka [for the equaliser]. I think Gusto has got to have a word with himself.
