JUST NOW:Jorginho drops Arsenal Team News hint before Sevilla with starting XI indication

Arsenal star Jorginho may have dropped a major hint that he is in line to start this evening's UEFA Champions League clash against Sevilla. The Italian international has been in Mikel Arteta's starting XI for his side's last two outings, Premier League fixtures against Manchester City and Chelsea.

Ahead of the Gunners' trip to the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, Jorginho has now posted a matchday preview video on his Instagram, perhaps a hint that he is in line to start the match in Spain. The former Chelsea midfielder has played at number six behind Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard in the aforementioned two fixtures, with Arsenal defeating City 1-0 before drawing 2-2 against the Blues on Saturday.

The 31-year-old has also been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium in recent times but on Monday he refused to get drawn into transfer speculation. "No I haven’t had any conversations (about a new contract) to be honest," he said during Arsenal's pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Sevilla.

"All I can say is that I feel really good here. I’m really happy at Arsenal.

"I haven’t thought about it to be honest with you. I’ve only been thinking about tomorrow (Tuesday)."

Despite making his Champions League debut nine years ago, Jorginho revealed that he still gets extremely excited before each match in Europe's premiere competition. "It’s iconic, it’s so remarkable," the ex-Napoli star said when asked about the iconic Champions League song."It was stuck in our heads when we were kids so you just kind of go back to your childhood when you listen to it. It seems so far away when you’re a kid to play in, and that’s why I think it’s really special.

"I was in Brazil as a little kid watching every single game of the Champions League, watching Barcelona, Milan and Arsenal with the ball, and the music. It’s a competition the whole world stops to watch, so to be here now, we are living our dreams.

“I could see a lot of excitement for the PSV game and I could feel the emotional side of it as well. They were excited to hear the music, and even in training when we trained for the first time with the Champions League ball. They couldn’t wait any more.

“It was nice to see the boys achieving these dreams in their lives. It’s always amazing to see and I’m really pleased that I was there with them.”
