It doesn’t look great for Mikel Arteta or Arsenal, but there are now serious doubts that their star man on the right won’t be available for the early Premier League title showdown against Manchester City on Sunday.

Following that bad news, Thierry Henry namechecked Hale-End star Eddie Nketiah, summer signing Kai Havertz and January capture Leandro Trossard to ‘make sure’ their teammate isn’t going to be missed if he is unavailable, as he told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (03/10/23 at 10:00 pm).
Whilst that defeat in France will sting the Arsenal supporters, players and the manager.

The signs were there with Saka’s injury
Mikel Arteta can’t be surprised by this Saka injury because the signs were there.
After picking up a knock in the north London derby, Saka hardly trained leading up to the Bournemouth game, then was taken off in the second half after some rough treatment.
Many fans debated about Saka’s involvement against RC Lens and whether he would be rested given his situation.
Well, those who called for the Hale-End star to be rested, will now be screaming and shouting at Arteta for his bad judgment call.
