They will be in the opposite dugout at the weekend and the reaction from the home crowd will be intriguing. Havertz scored the winner for Chelsea in the 2021 Champions League final, a game which Jorginho also played the entirety of.
Jorginho also won the Europa League with Chelsea, coincidentally against Arsenal, in 2019 and made over 200 appearances for the club. But leaving to join a London rival may not have gone down well with the Stamford Bridge faithful.
But it appears the duo are not holding any grudges since their exits. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta revealed they have spoken in positive terms about Chelsea.
Arsenal news: Kai Havertz and Jorginho will make their first returns to play Chelsea
Asked whether Havertz is excited about Saturday's match, Arteta said: "And Jorgi as well. I'm sure they will be [excited].
"They were there, they talk really highly about the club and everybody there. So it will be a special day for them."
Chelsea head into the match having won their last three games in all competitions. They face an Arsenal side who are one of just two teams still unbeaten in the Premier League this season.
