On Wednesday evening, Newcastle faced Manchester United in the Carabao Cup and Howe took the opportunity to rest some first-team players, making eight changes to the side that faced Wolves at the weekend.
Eddie told the media this morning that he has the same pool of players to pick from as he did at Wolves, so we expect him to pick the same side, therefore that'll be eight changes again as he reverts to the previous Premier League lineup.
Goalkeeper
Nick Pope - Back between the sticks to face Arsenal despite a solid display by Martin Dubravka on Wednesday.
Defence
Kieran Trippier - Tripps will take his place back from Tino Livramento, although after Tino's excellent performance on Wednesday and the fact that Trippier's last two outings have been poor, we feel this one is harsh.
Fabian Schar - Fab felt a bit ill midweek so didn't travel to Manchester but Howe says he's fine now so back in he goes.
Jamaal Lascelles - Big Cap'n Jam will be back as Sven Botman's injury woes continue.
Dan Burn - Matt Targett picked up an injury on Wednesday, and although Lewis Hall was quality, we think Howe goes back to BDB.Midfield
Sean Longstaff - The Geordie captained the side to victory on Wednesday and absolutely keeps his place for Arsenal.
Bruno Guimaraes - He came off the bench on Wednesday as a 'training exercise' according to Howe. He'll be back this weekend.
Joelinton - J7 will be back in the middle for the Toon after playing wide left on Wednesday.
Forwards
Anthony Gordon - The pacey winger will be back where he belongs after filling in as a makeshift striker in midweek.
Miguel Almiron - He played way more minutes than he was expecting on Wednesday but he bagged a goal in doing so.
Callum Wilson - Made a cameo on Wednesday but will be the star on Saturday.
There are a few players who will rightly feel aggrieved to be left out after sensational performances at Old Trafford, but Howe will go back to what he knows for Saturday's fixture.
If there's any position we're unsure of this time it's midfield. Joelinton was phenomenal on Wednesday, but so was the returning Joe Willock. We think that it's just too early for JW to return to the starting lineup in the Premier League, and really, how can you drop Joelinton or Sean Longstaff after Wednesday?
