BREAKING NEWS: Inside Arsenal training today... Things Noted,Timber is back in training

Leandro Trossard was a star for Arsenal against Sevilla in the Champions League last night, and Jurrien Timber has shown him some love on Instagram.

The Gunners expected a tough test against the Spanish side, but it was arguably their most comfortable win of the season. Arsenal were dominant from start to finish, and Trossard was really good in his false-nine role.

Arsenal signed Leandro Trossard for £27 million in January this year (Sky Sports).

There were a few eyebrows raised at the time because many viewed the Belgian as a downgrade on Mikel Arteta’s first-choice target in that position, Mykhaylo Mudryk.

However, Trossard has been absolutely incredible for Arsenal, with many claiming he’s even better than Mudryk. He had a big impact last season, and he is delivering again this time around.

With Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah both out injured, Trossard got the nod to start as a false nine last night, and he had a superb game.

He scored the opener after a fantastic move that involved Jorginho and Bukayo Saka and deservedly received a standing ovation when he was withdrawn in the second half.

Trossard took to Instagram after the game to celebrate the win. Jurrien Timber and Gabriel Magalhaes showed him some love.

Arsenal’s Trossard has given Mikel Arteta a headache
The only reason Leandro Trossard started up front last night was because both Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus were ruled out with injuries.

The Belgian, however, took his chance brilliantly, and he will now be keen to start when Burnley come to town in the Premier League on Saturday.

Nketiah is likely to return for the game this weekend, while Gabriel Jesus, who has been called up to the Brazil squad, has a chance to be in contention as well.

That gives Arteta a headache over who he will start up front, but it definitely is a good problem to have.
