Indeed, both Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah have shown their abilities over the past 18 months, and, at the moment, Mikel Arteta is finding it hard to choose between the pair.
With both players vying for the same position in this Arsenal team, you may expect there to be a bit of a rivalry between Nketiah and Jesus.
However, speaking to the BBC, Nketiah has made it clear that isn’t the case.
According to the striker. He and Jesus get on very well and he actually thinks he’s an unbelievable player, claiming that he doesn’t see him as a rival, more as a teammate who can help the side.
Nketiah a huge fan of Jesus
Nketiah spoke about his teammate.
“We get on so well me and Gabi just naturally. He’s a really cool guy and a good character around. He’s an unbelievable player as well to be fair. I want to be playing, I believe in myself, I don’t see it as me vs you, it’s about us trying to do what’s best for the team and taking my opportunity when it comes,” Nketiah said.

As much as pundits and fans talk about competition between players, the reality is that these aren’t individuals, it’s a team all pulling in the same direction and they all want the best for one another.
As Nketiah says, Jesus is a fantastic player who can help the side massively, and that’s all the striker cares about.
Whether he’s starting or not, Nketiah just wants Arsenal to win and his teammates to play well.
