Saka has been in fine form in the Champions League, registering two goals and three assists from Arsenal’s four matches thus far.
Arteta will be hoping Saka produces the goods again as the north Londoners look to secure revenge having lost the reverse fixture against RC Lens in October.
Speaking ahead of the match, Arteta was quizzed about Saka and said: ‘He’s got that ruthless mentality now to be the best that he can be every single day and to really be there on the pitch to affect games and win games for the team.
‘It is impossible not to love Bukayo. You sit with him two minutes, you get to know him and you get shocked at what a special character and person he is.
‘At the same time he is so humble, but he’s that person that sets the line there (high) and that’s enough, and that’s a big quality I think.’
Leandro Trossard also spoke highly of his Arsenal team-mate Saka before the clash against RC Lens and added: ‘He has so much quality.
‘He can make that one pass in the 18-yard box and you just need to be ready.’
Saka and Trossard have built up a strong partnership, with the Englishman providing the assist for all seven of the Belgian’s goals for the Gunners to date.
