Arsenal won't let Eddie Nketiah leave in the upcoming January transfer window despite the striker attracting interest from clubs in England and Germany, according to journalist Rudy Galetti. The Gunners remain focused on winning the Premier League title this season and therefore want a very strong bench. Only if they receive a big-money bid for the English forward, would they let him leave the club.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
While the Premier League leaders are keen on retaining the services of the 24-year-old player - who has a contract with the club until 2027 - they are also closely linked with a move for Brentford star Ivan Toney. Recently, The Bees' technical director Lee Dykes admitted that the England international could depart, but made it clear that they won't let him leave unless they get a hefty transfer fee.

Nketiah has played in 23 matches across all competitions this season including 16 Premier League appearances. He has managed to score six goals and provide four assists. He also netted a hat-trick in the league in the Gunners' 5-0 win over Sheffield United in October.
