It's been an up-and-down season for City in recent weeks, with just one win in their last five league matches marking a very uncharacteristic start to the campaign for Pep Guardiola's men after their treble-winning season last year. Following a 6-1 thrashing of Bournemouth back in early November, the Citizens drew three straight against Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham before a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa saw them slip down to fourth for the first time since September 2021.
It seemed as though their misfortunes were set to continue as they fell behind at Kenilworth Road against a tough Luton Town side that were out for all three points against the reigning champions but a brilliant three-minute spell saw two goals from Bernardo Silva and Grealish turn the tie around to keep them four points behind league leaders Liverpool.
On the other hand, it's been nothing but success in recent times for the Gunners. Besides a slight stumble against Aston Villa last weekend, a 6-0 win over RC Lens in the Champions League on top of victories against Wolves, Burnley and Luton have seen them cement their place in the top four.
Their 1-1 draw in midweek against PSV Eindhoven was enough to make sure they went through to the Champions League knockout stage top of their group but Saka himself didn't make an appearance after missing out on training earlier this week. Before the draw, Arteta admitted he thought it'd be too much of a risk to hand Saka too many minutes.
"He is fine," he claimed. "With a few of them we decided to have another day recovery just 48 hours before and he has played a lot of minutes so it wasn’t worth exposing him."
While warming up, the star was spotted limping back down the tunnel alongside a team doctor sparking fitness concerns for this weekend's clash with the Seagulls. But amidst the noise, Saka appears to be having a good time off the pitch as he posted a photo of himself looking very stylish on Instagram with the 'man-walking' emoji as the caption.
Both Grealish and Saka's teammate Reiss Nelson gave their opinions on the star's outfit as he ventured out in London as the latter wrote: 'Wow!! I like this!' while the City winger agreed with Nelson as he applauded the 22-year-old claiming: 'Best I've seen you'.
