The Gunners could certainly do with a reinforcement up front, ideally a tall target-man who can become the focal point of attack.
Now, according to 90Min, Arsenal – and other suitors – appear to have received a boost in their pursuit of Sesko.
The outlet claims that the RB Leipzig striker is open to a Premier League move in January, and all interested clubs have been notified by intermediaries.
A loan with an obligation to buy, should certain criteria be met, has been suggested for the likes of the Gunners and other suitors.
Sesko has slipped down the pecking order this season, with Lois Openda currently being preferred to the 20-year-old.
The Slovenia international has started just three Bundesliga matches from a possible 16, with the majority of his appearances coming from the substitutes’ bench.

In addition, Sesko – who joined Leipzig for a reported £55million in 2022 – started just two of their six Champions League games so far this term.
With Slovenia reaching Euro 2024, the youngster is apparently looking for more game time ahead of leading his nation’s line in Germany.
Sesko’s game is one many top scouts feel is suited to top-level English football, added the report.
Benjamin Sesko would be great for Arsenal
Sesko would be an outstanding acquisition for Arsenal. He is incredibly talented, stands 6ft 4in tall and, at just 20 years of age, can get a whole lot better still.
The Bundesliga website has compared the striker to Erling Haaland, which is obviously a huge badge of honour. Indeed, Sesko has welcomed those comparisons.
“Such comparisons motivate me and give me energy,” Sesko said previously of being likened to Haaland. “They do not represent pressure. I will listen and learn so I can be even better than he is.
“My teammates at the club tell me that Haaland and I are very similar, especially in terms of speed. Most of them even tell me that I’m better than him
