Indeed, the Blues, with all due respect, aren’t a very good football team right now, and somehow, after two years of crazy spending, they still need more signings.
However, due to FFP, it will be tough for Chelsea to get any more business done without a few outgoings.
Speaking on Off The Ball, Pat Nevin has suggested that Mykhaylo Mudryk could be one player who leaves to balance the books, claiming that Arsenal may still have an interest in the Ukrainian after almost signing him last January.

Arsenal may go back for Mudryk
Nevin shared his verdict on the 22-year-old.
“You’re suddenly thinking how do the finances work? They need that centre-forward, but they may not be able to afford it because of the rules just now. But some of their players may have interest from others. Arsenal might still look at Mudryk and think we can make a player out of him. I wouldn’t want to sell Mudryk, but they need to start thinking along those lines because it can’t go on forever,” Nevin said.
Admirers
While this may sound a bit far-fetched, we mustn’t forget that Mudryk does have his admirers behind the scenes at Arsenal.
Indeed, the Gunners almost signed the winger last January, and while he’s not been very good at Chelsea, someone at Arsenal must’ve seen something in him.
Of course, after the arrival of Leandro Trossard last year, Arsenal don’t necessarily need a player in that position anymore, but, at the same time, there’s no such thing as having too many good players when you’re challenging for a title.
This could be one to keep an eye on, especially as Arsenal haven’t hesitated to do business with Chelsea recently when signing both Jorginho and Kai Havertz.
