The Nigerian had recently hinted that he could look to leave the club in the summer, despite having signed a new deal with Napoli fairly recently.
Rai (via CN24) have reported about the situation of the striker, stating that the very intention of handing Osimhen a new deal was to sell him in the summer for the relevant release clause which is currently in the contract. It is stated that while Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Osimhen, Arsenal and Chelsea have already come forward to make contact with the player’s entourage.
Real Madrid have also been interested but they have never moved concretely for the 25-year-old yet. The clause in Osimhen’s new deal is only relevant for clubs outside of Italy, as there is absolutely no chance that he would leave the Partenopei for another Italian club, despite former Juventus striker Alessandro Matri recently suggesting that Juventus could land the Nigerian in the summer.
