Ben White: Defensively switched on throughout. Dealt well with the threat of Nunez, Jota and Gakpo as they took turns to take runs at him. Decent attacking contribution. 6.
William Saliba: A couple of cheap giveaways of the ball but the Frenchman was largely excellent. A superb tackle to stop Nunez in the box that was the highlight of a solid display. 7.
Gabriel: A really solid display. Gave Arsenal the security blanket to go forward an attack with numbers by how effective he was in one-vs-one duels. Good distribution too. 7.
Jakub Kiwior: Looked much more comfortable at left-back than he has done in recent matches as he wasn't asked to invert as much. Very unfortunate to head into his own net beyond Ramsdale. 6.
Jorginho: Solid at the base of the midfield to keep Arsenal possession and control ticking over. Strong in occasional tackles too. Typical display from the Italian. 6.
Declan Rice: Showed real bite and tenacity in the tackle yet again against top opposition. Some good passes up the pitch too. Did well in a more advanced role. 7.
Martin Odegaard: Should have scored his chance in the first half that thundered off the bar but was good aside from that. Some great chance creation and passing in the final third. 7.
Bukayo Saka: Much better than against Fulham. Caused problems in the first half. Again though the familiar problem of not being able to finish chance reared it's head. 6.
Kai Havertz: Looked good up front in his first start there since August. Good build up and runs. Like the rest of the Arsenal team right now though, couldn't finish the glorious chances provided to him. 6.
Reiss Nelson: Seemed determined to take his first real chance in a big game this season. Caused Liverpool all sorts of problems with his running in behind. Great energy to buzz around the pitch and be unpredictable. Like the rest of the team couldn't finish his chances though. 7.
SUBSTITUTES -
Gabriel Martinelli: Same as usual recently for Martinelli. Some good play to get into the final third but his finishing and delivery was off. 6
