According to Football Transfers, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has earmarked the England international as a possible signing in 2024.
The report adds that Arsenal are monitoring his progress in Italy, although interest is still in the early stages.
In addition, the report also says Tomori‘s family are Arsenal fans, and the player himself idolised Gunners icon Thierry Henry in his younger years.

Tomori has gone from strength to strength since swapping Chelsea for AC Milan in 2021, becoming one of Serie A’s standout defenders.
The 26-year-old has clocked up 129 appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring six goals, and has also won five caps for the Three Lions.
Fikayo Tomori earns praise from Arsenal icons
Tomori has come in from praise from some famous Arsenal alumni before. For instance, Paul Merson described him as a “very good” player on Sky Sports back in 2019.

Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere was stunned to see the reported Gunners target snubbed for the 2022 World Cup in place of Harry Maguire.
“It’s difficult to have favourites at international level,” the Arsenal coach said on talkSPORT ahead of the tournament.
“He’s obviously not playing at Manchester United for a reason, the manager has come in and he’s seen that he’s not good enough to play in that team, but he’s good enough to play in England’s team, so it’s difficult finding that balance.
“I’m not sure if I’d play him or not. If he does play, he’d have to play in a back three, but there’s other centre-backs ahead of him, especially Tomori who isn’t even on the plane. He’s definitely ahead of him.”
Fikayo Tomori a quality player but Arsenal deal in January looks difficult
Admittedly, this may be a tricky deal for Arsenal to pull off, particularly in January.
Tomori’s contract at Milan runs until 2027, so their hand would be very strong in any negotiations.
Besides, Arsenal aren’t in desperate need of centre-backs at present. There are other positions that will surely take priority at this moment in time, such as left-back, centre-forward and perhaps midfield.
