Arsenal risk losing 'the next Bukayo Saka' for free at end of season

Arsenal want the 18-year-old to stay and they have held talks over fresh terms. No agreement has been struck yet, but discussions are ongoing.

Cozier-Duberry has been tipped for a big future and has impressed for Arsenal at youth level.

The winger played a vital role in the club’s run to the FA Youth Cup final last season and Arsenal Under-18 manager Jack Wilshere has compared him to Bukayo Saka.

“Amario is very exciting and Mikel [Arteta] likes him,” Wilshere told the Athletic last year. “He reminds me of Bukayo Saka, plays in the same position as him, needs to get better with his decision-making like Bukayo did, but he’s definitely exciting.

“In some moments he’s unplayable. You give him the ball and he can make things happen. You can set up a team and have a game plan, but when you’ve got individuals like that you’ve got a chance.”

Cozier-Duberry is yet to make his senior debut for Arsenal, but he has regularly trained and toured with the first team.

Clubs from all over Europe have been scouting him and have been alerted to his situation in the hope the winger can be prised away from his boyhood club.

Ajax, Anderlecht, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle have all watched Cozier-Duberry and are tracking him closely.
