The Serbian striker has been on the Gunners’ radar for years at this point and with Juventus still struggling for cash over in Italy, a transfer could be on the cards this winter.
Speaking on The Arsenal Beat podcast, Sky Sports’ Gary Cotterill has been discussing the idea of Vlahovic coming to Arsenal, and he says that Arteta is a fan of the striker.
More interestingly though, Cotterill says that Juventus are open to the idea of letting Vlahovic go in a player-plus-cash deal.

Vlahovic available in a swap deal
Cotterill shared what he knows about the Juventus star.
“Not Ivan Toney because I don’t think Brentford will sell him in January. Another player though we know Mikel Arteta is a fan of is Dusan Vlahovic. Juventus wanted £50m, but that was too steep for Arsenal, but Juventus have financial problems. They would listen to a cash-plus-player offer and there are also these tax rules in Italy which is something for them to consider,” Cotterill said.
Who can Arsenal swap?
This is a very interesting update, and you can’t help but wonder which players Arsenal could look at sacrificing to get this deal done.
MORE ARSENAL STORIES
Well, interestingly, Thomas Partey has been linked with Juventus lately, and perhaps he could act as the perfect bait to lure the Italian giants into accepting a deal.
Juventus need a midfielder due to Paul Pogba’s current ban, and Partey has been linked with a move away from Arsenal for quite some time now.
Other potential options could be Emile Smith Rowe or Fabio Vieira who are struggling for minutes at the Emirates at the moment but retain high transfer value.
This could certainly be a situation to keep an eye on this month.
