The Gunners have lost three consecutive games now, a run that started with a defeat against the Hammers, while a draw at the London Stadium last season led to a run of just three wins from the final seven games of the season.
Speaking on the Footballer’s Football Podcast, Michail Antonio has been discussing Arsenal’s recent run, and he says that his agent has actually been calling him to blame West Ham for Arsenal’s recent poor run.

Antonio’s agent has been fuming
The West Ham star spoke about his recent conversation with his agent.
“What is crazy is that they played West Ham, they played us and they just started losing games from there. I swear to god even my agent has called me and he said ‘it’s always you, it’s always you guys, you did it to us last year and you’ve done it to us this year!’ I didn’t even play this time, I wasn’t even involved, how can you blame me? I actually feel for him, I want them to win the league, I actually want them to win the league,” Antonio said.
Kryptonite
Arsenal have been brilliant over the past two years, but for some reason, West Ham seem to be the Gunners’ kryptonite.
They threw away a lead against the Hammers in a key game last season, while they lost to the east London club a few weeks ago and haven’t recovered their form since.
David Moyes seems to have Mikel Arteta’s number a little bit, and these two setbacks against West Ham have derailed Arsenal’s title charge on two occasions.
Whether or not the Gunners can get back on track remains to be seen, but things certainly aren’t looking too bright for Arsenal right now.
