Ian Wright sums Arsenal up in just four words after seeing their first-half performance v Liverpool

Arsenal are stuck at 0-0 against Liverpool in their FA Cup third-round clash and Ian Wright is far from impressed with what he’s seen.

The Gunners have once again had plenty of ball but struggled to find the back of the net.

Ivan Toney remains a big expensive option for them, while Dominic Solanke is emerging as a player they could move for.

It doesn’t matter how much people defend Kai Havertz and how well he does in certain games, the fact remains that he is just not a proper striker.

Arsenal have a huge problem right now in the attacking third and they simply have to address it in January.

Mikel Arteta will be well aware of the issue as well and that’s why the likes of Solanke, Toney and more are being linked.

Once again, it could be something that costs them the league and it’s been as evident as ever against Liverpool this afternoon.

If it stays like this, or Liverpool even pinch the game, then the narrative will come out again. And in fairness, that narrative is not wrong, based on this performance.
