The Gunners are struggling to spend big in this month’s transfer window. FFP regulations make it difficult for them to make a big signing without selling one of their own for a sizeable fee. Many feel Nketiah should be shown the door, and Crystal Palace have now made an offer to sign him.

Crystal Palace make offer to sign Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah
Eddie Nketiah has been at Arsenal since joining their academy as a teenager.
He was released by Chelsea back then, and he used that setback as motivation to come through the ranks at Arsenal and become a first-team player.
Mikel Arteta rates Nketiah highly and has given him plenty of opportunities at the Emirates over the years. However, the Englishman has struggled to become a prolific goalscorer at the top level.
Many fans and pundits have urged Arsenal to get rid of Nketiah, and Football Transfers have now revealed that Crystal Palace have made an offer to sign the Englishman.
It has been claimed that this is the Eagles’ second offer for Nketiah after their first one was rejected by Arsenal. They now want to sign him on loan with an obligation to make that move permanent in the summer.

Arsenal are unlikely to let Nketiah leave this month unless they find a replacement.

Nketiah would become a star at Crystal Palace
Whatever you think of Eddie Nketiah, he is a really talented footballer.
The youngster was always prolific at youth level, and although he hasn’t quite been able to be as good in the senior setup, it’s too early to write him off.
The pressure of leading the line at Arsenal is massive, and that’s probably why Nketiah has struggled. At Crystal Palace, however, he won’t be under as much scrutiny, which should really benefit him.

It’s unlikely that a move will go through this month, but if Nketiah does end up at Palace, we think he will be a really good player for them.
