t seems the next step of Mikel Arteta’s project will be to add an elite goal-scorer, it just wasn’t expected to be so crucial, so soon.

Perhaps Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah inefficiencies in front of goal have been a little exaggerated, they’re both still excellent forwards. 

But Arsenal would look better positioned if Toney replaced one of the duo in January – with it looking impossible that Jesus will leave.

Should Arsenal eventually replace Nketiah with Toney, they certainly would be in an excellent position.
