The Ligue 2 attacker has seemingly caught the eye of the north London side having enjoyed an impressive year in France’s second tier this season under Alexandre Dujeux.
Arsenal are no strangers to taking talents from the division, with the likes of Yaya Sanogo and Matteo Gunedouzi all being brought to the Premier League via Ligue 2.
And according to L’Equipe, Arsenal could now be ready to make another signing from the second-tier league in the form of Bahoya, who is also wanted by a Ligue 1 side.
Lauded by Angers-Info as an ‘unstoppable’ forward, Bahoya has certainly won headlines this season with the Maine-et-Loire side, with the teenage attacker scoring five goals and assisting two in all competitions.
Indeed, whilst Arsenal fans might have been expecting a more senior signing this January, Bahoya’s potential could be of use to Mikel Arteta’s side, who are currently lacking in wonderkid attackers.

Given how much Bahoya has played this season for Angers, it’s easy to see why Arsenal are now taking an interest in signing the 18-year-old forward.
Versatile enough to play out on the wing and in the attacking midfield position, Bahoya ticks a lot of boxes for Arsenal when it comes to long-term signings.
And with the Gunners somewhat light on teenage attackers at the moment, Bahoya could be a great addition to Arsenal’s ranks this January, with Angers likely to demand little for their wonderkid forward.
