According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal have joined a number of other big clubs in the race to sign Fenerbahce’s Sebastian Szymanski.
The report claims that the Gunners have sent scouts to watch the 24-year-old in action for his club.
However, Arsenal are far from alone in pursuit of Szymanski, according to the report.
As well as the Gunners, the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are also in the race.

Needless to say, Arsenal will have a battle on their hands this summer if they want to sign the Poland international.

Arsenal target Sebastian Szymanski has played alongside Jakub Kiwior
However, the Gunners may just hold an ace up their sleeve in the form of Kiwior, who is now finally enjoying life at the Emirates Stadium.
Kiwior has taken a while to find his feet at N5, but now he’s playing regularly – and doing well – on the left side of Arsenal’s defence.
The Gunners ace has played 16 times alongside Szymanski in the Poland national team, including at the 2022 World Cup.
Szymanski usually plays at No. 10, but he can also play on the wings and in defensive midfield. Mikel Arteta likes versatility, so he’d certainly tick that box.His goal contribution tally this season is impressive. He has 14 goals and 12 assists from 39 outings in all competitions for Fenerbahce so far in 2023/24.
TEAMtalk have reported that the Turkish giants value Szymanski at £30million, which isn’t a particularly high amount for Arsenal.
