Bukayo Saka sends Arsenal title warning to Liverpool after Newcastle United win

Bukayo Saka has sent a bold message to Liverpool and Manchester City following Arsenal's win over Newcastle United.
Liverpool had extended their lead at the top to five points with a midweek win over Luton Town, while on Saturday, the late kick-off at the Emirates Stadium meant that Arsenal also watched City record a 1-0 win over Bournemouth as they prepared to take on Newcastle.

However, Mikel Arteta's side responded in the perfect way and underlined their Premier League title credentials as they recorded their sixth consecutive win with a dominant display against the Magpies. Sven Botman's own goal opened the scoring before Kai Havertz, Saka and Jakub Kiwior were all on target.

Taking to Instagram after the game, Saka wrote: "6 in a row! Big performances all around. Time to rest and recover so we can go again. We want more.”

While Gunners boss Arteta said: "I'm really happy with the performance against a Newcastle team who are really really good. The boys were really good, really aggressive and we deserved to win the game.

"They [Newcastle] have a lot of resources to create issues but we continued in the same way, we maintained our rhythm and it was a joy to watch the team play.

"We are really happy, we have to continue to do the things that we are doing well. There are still things that we can do better and we are bringing big players back from injury so that is a big boost."
