Mikel Arteta will have probably woken up in a great mood today, buoyed that his side’s finishing is finally beginning to live up to their performances.
Arsenal enjoyed five different scorers in their 6-0 away win yesterday, one that should deliver a ton of confidence moving forward.
Whilst West Ham simply weren’t at the races, credit does have to be given to Arsenal for how ruthless they were in attack.
Much akin to a peak Manchester City team, Arteta’s side didn’t relent when the game was won, they were thirsty for more.
That being said, Leandro Trossard was one of the players who set the tone early on.
In the absence of Gabriel Jesus, the Belgian was entrusted as Arsenal’s number nine – a decision that paid dividends.

And following the game, Trossard did take to Instagram to celebrate his goal and Arsenal’s three points yesterday.
The winger uploaded a collection of photos, which were well received by his teammates.
Leandro Trossard made a real statement with his Arsenal performance at West Ham yesterday
Both Edu Gaspar and Bukayo Saka were delighted with Trossard’s display, leaving a comment under the post.
And given Trossard is perhaps unfortunate to often be on the periphery of things at Arsenal, it is to his credit that he can switch into the team so seamlessly.
Of course, the Belgian has proved to be something of a goal and assist magnet during his time in North London, something that can’t be said for the whole Arsenal squad.
Trossard now has six Premier League goals this season, impressive numbers for a player who rarely starts.
And if Arsenal were quiet this January, it seems their £26m-move to sign Trossard the year before was a wise one.
The Belgian played his 50th game for Arsenal against West Ham yesterday, and proved all that he can offer.
And perhaps on this evidence, Trossard will now enjoy an extended run in the eleven in the coming games.
