In a new revelation, the Premier League has admitted that there have been a huge 20 wrong VAR interventions this season but it is claimed that the 'majority' of supporters are in favour of the technology. The Premier League added that the existence of VAR had led to a 14% increase in correct decisions.
The details have come from a survey set up to improve VAR, led by Premier League chief football officer Tony Scholes. He said: "VAR is, and remains, a very effective tool in supporting the match officials on the pitch."
