'It's just horrible': Ian Wright reacts after what has happened to Arsenal's Bukayo Saka recently

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has had his say after seeing rival fans boo Bukayo Saka in recent games.
The Gunners haven’t been as good as they were last season and neither has Saka. However, they are still in a decent position, and the 22-year-old could yet guide Arsenal to the Premier League title.

Ian Wright reacts to rival fans booing Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka is one of the most-fouled players in the entire Premier League.

The England international is a fantastic player. He has the ability to trouble almost every defender in the world, and that sometimes backfires.

When the opposition players can’t find a way to stop Saka, they end up fouling him, and some of the challenges he faces every week are just ridiculous.

One common theme in recent weeks is that Saka is getting booed by rival fans every time he goes down – even if it’s after a foul by their own side’s player.

That seems to have angered Ian Wright, who says he’s really upset with the reaction.

Speaking on Wrighty’s House, after Flo Lloyd-Hughes mentioned that Saka is getting booed a lot, Wright replied: “Yeah! Everywhere he goes. Everywhere he goes, it’s just horrible.

“He’s like one of the nicest people. I get upset about it.”

Arsenal need Saka to deliver vs Liverpool
Arsenal take on Liverpool tomorrow in what is a huge game for both sides, especially the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta‘s side are currently five points behind Liverpool. A defeat tomorrow will increase that gap to eight, which would all but rule out their Premier League title hopes.

A win tomorrow, however, changes everything, and Bukayo Saka will be key for Arsenal.

The 22-year-old looked really good against Nottingham Forest a few days ago. He scored a great goal and was a real threat from start to finish.

Saka scored twice against Jurgen Klopp‘s side in this fixture last season. If he can do that again, Arsenal will be right in the mix to go all the way in the title race.
