Jamie Carragher has just taken another dig at Arsenal today after what the Champions League have posted

Jamie Carragher has now taken another dig at Arsenal following a post from the UEFA Champions League.

The 46-year-old made the comment when writing on X (previously known as Twitter).

So, what did Jamie Carragher aim towards Arsenal? Let’s take a look…

Jamie Carragher takes another dig at Arsenal
Well, the Sky Sports pundit made headlines last week after Arsenal recorded a 3-1 win over Liverpool.

Carragher was particularly riled by scenes involving Martin Odegaard after full-time at the Emirates Stadium, as the Norway international took photographs of Arsenal photographer Stuart MacFarlane while celebrating.

The Liverpool legend said live on air: “Just get down the tunnel, you’ve won a game. Three points, you’ve been brilliant, back in the title race. Get down the tunnel!”

Now, after the UEFA Champions League’s official account posted a photo of Carragher lifting the famous trophy back in 2005, another dig has been aimed at Arsenal.

The man from Bootle wrote: “The right time to celebrate!”

MORE ARSENAL STORIES
Clearly, Carragher – who wants the Gunners to draw Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League – enjoyed the backlash he received from Arsenal fans on Sunday evening, as he continues to poke the hornet’s nest.

Arsenal must continue to celebrate
The celebration police – as the likes of Carragher, Chris Sutton and others have become known – must not be allowed to stop Arsenal from celebrating huge moments like Sunday’s win.

Football is about embracing moments and using those feelings as motivation to push forward – you simply cannot bottle it all up and save these emotions just in case silverware is won at the end of the season.

In truth, it was seriously disappointing to see Sky Sports make Odegaard’s celebration the focus of their analysis, when Mikel Arteta oversaw so many intriguing tactical details to secure the win.

Hopefully, comments from people like Carragher motivate Arsenal to keep celebrating each and every win – this season and beyond.
